Tropical Island

Well here I am in Shetland for the seventh visit this year...and my first next year I suppose. The Viking Queen's wee car was bursting at the seams with bags, boxes and bottles. Three adults and a large dog were somehow crammed into the gaps. In anticipation of a northern isles winter I've packed the heavy coats and woolies, which of course take up twice the space of the normal stuff, only to find that the place is positively tropical at the moment. I've just had the confirmation from the BBC weather report that this is the warmest place in Britain at the moment. I think I'll grab a pair of flip-flops when I'm out doing the last minute Chrismas shop later on. Barby on the beach anyone?
